Rechargeable flash-light + DIY solar panel + drum machine

Here’s some inspiration for your next project.

This is a very simple homemade, USB rechargeable, super-bright flashlight. It’s a cool project to try out as a beginner. And it’s useful:

This guy created a really cool drum machine and automatic bass, by using an arduino to control a bunch of solenoids. Includes a cool video:

I know many are interested in solar power. The following tutorial explains how to make your own solar panels. It lacks some details, but gives a good overview:
