I was in Florida a couple of weeks ago.
There I built an electronic nose with Jose Ramos.
The video I made is a bit short and doesn’t go into the details.
But you’ll see how we solder a circuit that might look a bit advanced.
And there is no magic happening.
Anyone can do this.
We used a soldering oven to simplify the soldering.
Most DIY’ers don’t have such an oven.
But instead, you can use a toaster oven, a skillet, or a hot air gun.
The boards were designed by Michael Madsen.
He did, of course, spend some time coming up with the circuit board design.
But I know a lot of beginners don’t even dare to try, just because soldering small components seems impossible.
