Check out this simple tip that Michael sent me:
[MICHAEL]:
“I was making a small practice audio amplifier and was in need of a 2.5 Ohm resistor. I didn’t
have one and didn’t want to wait for an order to be fulfilled.
If resistors are made of carbon, and variable resistors have a carbon raceway; then perhaps, I could make one. I wrapped each end of a segment of pencil lead with wire, soldered the wires in place, adjusting the distance between the wires until I got the value I needed. How’s that for a quick fix?”
[OYVIND]:
That’s a great tip. Easy and simple. And it makes the resistor less of a mystery. Thanks for sharing!

If you can find a wire wound resistor, take it apart and use an ohm meter to determine the correct length (ohms) for the project
Please sir, i want to start designing electronic devices, integrated circuits. Can you teach me?

Which one should I use isolate wire or normal wire
The side you connect to the carbon must be without isolation so that there is a connection.
